Airbag Test System

The Weiss Airbag Test System consists of a temperature conditioning chamber with a high speed opening and closing door system for rapid deployment of the test specimen on a sliding frame with runners.

Airbag modules are tested inside the chamber with parameters of temperature and humidity. The test specimen set-up is mounted on a plate which projects out of the test room. The door of the test room is opened and closed within approximately 10 seconds.
